Stuart Nelson

Director

Stuarts pathway to business started following a serious Rugby injury which cut short a promising professional career. Starting his first company at 19 he later went on to establish Regional Construction Group in 2014 with his wife, Jo, initially as a sole trader before expanding to the enterprise he leads today. In his spare time, Stuart coaches a successful youth rugby team and enjoys Formula 1 and motorsport. Stuart and Jo have a son, George whose golfing handicap far exceeds his dads golfing ability!.

Jo Nelson

Financial Director

Jo and Stuart have been married for 16 years and they have one son, George. Jo hails from Hazel Grove and following college worked as a senior recourse planner for the RAC before setting up Regional construction with Stuart in 2014. Like all good teams, Stuarts drive and Jo’s vision are the driving force behind the success of Regional. When not keeping Stuart and George in check, she enjoys the Gym, walking Ted the dog and just a small glass of Prosecco.

Doug Spence

Foreman / Lead Engineer

Doug has worked within the construction industry his entire life. A highly skilled joiner by trade, Doug is our foreman / lead engineer and worked in the trade for his entire career. He has been with Regional from the start. In his spare time, Doug is a DJ and quiz host working throughout the North West.

Chris Price

Office / Operations Manager

Following a full career in the British Army, Chris moved into the commercial sector holding various Head of Corporate Operations roles with Bank of America and Manchester Airport before becoming Regional Director for a global FM provider. Chris left the corporate world in 2022 to complete a Masters Degree, before joining the Regional team in 2023. Chris is a frustrated writer, and enjoys Rugby, Photography, Skiing, Charity fundraising for ABF The Soldiers Charity and country walks with Barley.

Dan Mason

Operations Manager

Dan has recently joined the Regional team as Operations Manager. With a strong background in the telecommunications industry, Dan has previously held roles as a retail store manager with Vodaphone with exposure to sales management and computer security. This skill-set has allowed him to pursue his passion for technology and its applications in the business world.
Dan is single and enjoys motorsports and walking his dog Riker.

Alan Brookes

Lead Engineer

With a career in teaching, Alan is not of the usual builder mould. A lecturer in automotive engineering before moving in to residential property maintenance, Alan joined Regional in 2022 where his diagnostic and Track and Trace skillset has proven to be a huge asset to the business. With his teaching experience, Alan is ideally placed to be our Apprentice Mentor. In his spare time, Alan enjoys motor sport and building computers when he finds silence from his noisy family!

Barley

K9 Emtional Support

Barley the ‘Boing-o-matic flingy-floof’ was born on an arable and livestock farm in the wilds of North Yorkshire and is 4 years old. She is a Kennel Club registered English Springer Spaniel and hails from a long line of champion of breed (working line). Her interests are water, balls, food & hunting (not necessarily in that order) and can be found most mornings with her Dad, Chris running through misty fields. Barley provides essential emotional support and welfare to the ‘stressed’ office team during periods of increased pressure in return for biscuits.

Danielle Spence

Invoicing

Danielle has recently completed a degree in fashion photography whilst also juggling being a mum to 4 year old Eric. She recently joined the Regional team as an office PA and has excelled in the role Danielle is also an accomplished baker, which keeps the office team very happy!
